My wife wrote a story about when she was 7 years old, and her Mom was in the hospital, and she missed her Mom so much. There came a day when Dad said let's go pick Mom up... she's comin' home. And that little 7 year old girl lit up - it was like her little life was saved. Everything was more colorful and brighter. They picked up Mom and, on the way home, got some tangerine Life Savers candy... and that tangerine lifesaver was the best any little girl had ever had. Mom was comin' home! So, Mom (from Pasadena) became the Tangerine in this song... and she is a Dear. This song is for her and for my wife...
